BIOVINYL

Vinyl made from biosourced PVC (PVC is replaced by recycling used cooking oil or industrial waste gases) using renewable energy and recycled raw materials, thereby reducing the CO2 carbon footprint of said Biosourced PVC.

CARTON RETOURNE - REVERSE BOARD

Printing on the reverse side of the board - uncoated side (gives a matt, grainy effect). Highly absorbent to inks.

CELLOPHANE - SHRINKWRAP

Is a thin, transparent film made from cellulose hydrate. It is a heat-shrinkable material used to enclose the record in its sleeve.

CODES ISRC

The ISRC code is a unique numerical identifier for each track. It is also used by online sales and distribution platforms, and by radio stations for rights distribution.

CODE EAN

This is the barcode that will appear on the record sleeve. It enables the product to be marketed and identified in the sales networks (especially the distribution networks which do not accept products without a barcode). (especially distribution channels that do not accept products without a barcode). It is generally created by the distributor.

DDPi

Pre-master image used to make the glassmaster CD. It is produced by a specialist mastering studio and contains all the files that make up the exact image of the CD that will be pressed. It complies with a very strict standard and an error check to avoid any kind of anomaly.

DMM

The DMM method reduces the need for galvanic process. Engraving is carried out using a heated stylus fitted with a diamond chisel that traces a helical groove.

DIGIFILE

CD sleeve with 2 or 3 cardboard panels, with a die-cut on one or both panels for sleeving the disc and/or booklet - CD format.
